Martyn Hocking
Tins says in the local press that only losing 12 games out of 45 this term is a positive sign for the future....Wake up and smell the coffee! You'll never get promoted out of this division losing that number of games. SL made this point in a pre-season interview - he specifically pointed to the likes of Wigan going through the whole season losing 5-6 games. His point was that we needed to be tough enough mentally to do the same. Seems like the message never got through to the dugout!Well_Red

Luke_Ciderhead
Funnily enough, we've actually only lost two more than last season! A false statistic though really because footballs about winning games, not avoiding simply defeat.BTW, the last time we got promoted we lost 12 games. Is he going to do a Barry Fry on us and do everything here soon or what? If he does, will the last person to leave the Gate please turn out the lights... gaz897
I think it is a sign of optimisum. 12 games lost. Turn a few looses into draws and the shed load of draws we've had into wins and thats a hell of a good position.
Gerry Gows' Tash
It's not bad ! It's comparable with some of the teams above us - especially away from home - the real problem (as last season) is too many draws, especially at home. You can get promoted - or at least comfortably in the playoffs - with 12 defeats provided you are winning nearly all of your home games and picking up points on the road
