Bath City have agreed to release him from his existing contract with them.Gary, having been at Forest Green Rovers previously, is delighted with the appointment and has a wealth of knowledge into the way the club is operated. He will take up his post on return from his annual holiday. Here's hoping Gary Owers can mastermind promotion back to the Conferencenext season. i_am_red
why are FGR playing in Conferance NORTH, i swear i read that somewhere?
BCFC_Dan
why are FGR playing in Conferance NORTH, i swear i read that somewhere?←Because the northern side won the divisional playoff, so there is more space in the north than the south. It sounds ridiculous but it doesn't make a huge difference really.

It sounds ridiculous but it doesn't make a huge difference really.←Thats wrong mate. Forest Green applied to be in the northern division for a number of reasons. The majority of their playing staff are located around the midlands area and also they are handily based for links to the M5. Alot of the teams in the northern division are easier to get to for the playing staff and fans alike.Regardless of who won the play-off, they were always going to be in the northern division. It was purely a location decision.
