JudgeRed
I have just been reading about David Seaman on the sky website. I would like to say he is/was the worlds greatest gaolkeeper. I felt so sorry for him when this country (England fans if thats whay you can call them) let rip into him after the Brazil game. The England fans have such short memmorys David was one of the reasons we got to the World cup finals in the first place and a he saved England on so many accasions. It's a massive shame to see the end of a legend. Good luck all your family David and thank you for all you have done the the game of football. Admin Maesknoll Red Posted January 13, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted January 13, 2004 "Seaman played over 1,000 club and international matches and was awarded the MBE in 1996" - from the BBCi site. Awesome record by any standard, shame he couldn't go on a high.
Guest zider_head
should of gone after world cup, great keeper i remeber euro96 pens against scots ans spainish, world cups etc but i also remember the bad times ronandinhio etc and nayim (ex spurs player) but for me his best save was the one when we beat the germans 5-1 he kept us in that game which in turn took us to the world cup. Great pro i hope he stays in the game as a goolkeepering coach or manager maybe ?
