The Casual Connoisseur
I can't believe that we are playing Forest on a Monday night, what a let down.I had defo penned that in as great away day out.........I wonder if this could now be our first live game on Sky TV, or was this decision made on Police advice? dazza247
I may be wrong but I think this Monday is a Bank holiday isn't it?! If so could be a fair few city fans down there!! Wonder how many tickets we'll be allocated and if only season ticket holders will get their hands on them?!

Guest bristolbred
You can forget going up by train if it remains a 19:45 K/O, as the last train from Nottingham to Bristol will be leaving 3 minutes BEFORE the match starts!!, So coach, car, or an overnight stay!!,
Guest
If its a 3pm kick off, thats great - infact it may be the best away day of the season.

Chivs
The second last time I saw Notts Forest was away in the League Cup Semis.Tough decision with 10mins to go. Leave immediately and get the last train back to Manchester where I was living. Or stay till the end.Needless to say I spent the night on a freezing cold Birmingham New Street platform.Ahh, jumpers for goalposts isn't it?The good old days... Percy Parrot
I'm really confused. Where does it say it's a 745? surely a 3:00 kick off. Would be very surprised if police let it be 7:45 without good reason.
Northern Red
Also, the Test match is on at Trent Bridge (about 2 mins away from the City Ground) that weekend. Last day is the Monday, so it may have finished by then, but they can't take the risk of having a potentially volatile football match taking place while it's on.
