The Casual Connoisseur
I THINK YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT!!!!!!!!!!The technology used is superb, the idea of a chip & pin ticketing system is extremely innovative and the stadiums facilities are amazing, oh and it cost a quarter of the price of Wembley. screech
The projects at the NEC and Manchester would have cost a quarter of what Wembley did, but as with everything else LONDON must have everything.London has got to be one of the most congested dirty smelly cities in the western world but, hey, lets put a new stadium there to clog it up with more traffic and pollution, it certainly won't affect the smell of the place. Stoke_Gifford_Red
Even though Wembley cost more it is better, as is the Millenium Stadium and even Old Trafford. I don't care if the ground changes colour on teh outside, as I would rather be in it.
