Guest WillsbridgeRed Posted July 14, 2005 Report Share Posted July 14, 2005 A number of incidents are being reported of what are possibly escaped Ostriches in the south Bristol area, mainly around Bedminster and Ashton. Sightings have been reported in most of Bristol however.A member of the RSPCA called out to the incidents is quoted as saying "I'm sure they must be Ostriches because they have their heads buried in sand, however all of those I have managed to corner have been suffering from long term memory loss in some cases, or from very acute selective memory in others"Police are urging drivers to beware in case any of the animals are blocking roads.
