Nibor Posted July 14, 2005 Report Share Posted July 14, 2005 We got a part of the profit from Wolves selling him to Leicester too, which was about 400k I think.We had to give some of the £3.5million (I think 800kish? 30% of the 2.3 mill profit IIRC) to Gillingham.Interestingly, Tony Pulis (who as Gills manager sold Akinbiyi to City, and then sold him to Wolves as City manager) claimed a cut of Gillingham's sell on was due to him since when he was at Gills he had a deal where he got a %age of transfer fees.
