Strongbow Stu
Do you honestly believe that they'd do a deal only after a certain amount of season tickets are sold?If this deal was done weeks ago how come we rejected there first offer only last week Everyones not happy with him going but it is good business for the club. In the age of transfers being paid over x amount of installments, to get a one off lump sum and a good sell on is a credit to our chairman. So my response to your theory is that its B******S

I don't think we have even sold 9000 season tickets. Tom Jacobs isn't exactly setting the world alight, 2 years after we realease him, the fact that he still plays for Clevedon shows we made the right decision in getting rid of him. Jacobs or Stewart? Hmm tough one

We all know how football is big business.Good PR for BT as well, as the 'feel sorry' factor has seemed to kick in.Could well be good sound business all round. rumbellow
Tinnions stance was, He was surprised that Lita had gone, Lita would'nt sign a new contract, Lita wanted to go and that he did'nt view a move to Reading as a big move and another sucessful season with bcfc would have netted Lita a move to a pemiership club.Where in all of that is he p****d with the chairman, More like p****d with Lita.I would say your source is a p*** taker, 6 weeks ago the chairman was a hero, Now a host fools with more foolish 'sources' are stirring it before the season has started.FACE IT LITA WANTED TO GO, HE ALWAYS DID.Sad but true. richieb
FACE IT LITA WANTED TO GO, HE ALWAYS DID.Sad but true.←Yep,looks as if Lita was very instrumental in wanting this move. And apparently it has been said that all the time it took was due to changing agents. So Lita wanted to go & kept everything quiet until last week?Manager & Chairman had 'no idea' it was going to happen. ?As I said business is business.
