Is a good idea to look abroad for new players but what if they cant speak english or cant settle in England  sad.gif

Most foregners can speak English so if they can't either teach them or don't sign them!! As for settling, this is where research comes in. You will never know for certain but researching the player and numerous discussions should tell you a little about his personality.

Problems with overseas players is, work visas have to obtained and they have to play so many games, so if he is dropped, then we could simply lose the player.

Relocation fees normally have to be paid, i.e. hotel fees before moving in or put up in a house. This can sometimes help persuade the player to come.

And, depending on what club he plays for wages could be a problem.

Just a thought what work may have to go into getting these players.

Why not go for someone who has learned his trade at Ajax in Holland ?

Its a known fact the Dutch especially Ajax emphasis the game on passing ability.

There are bound to be loads of youngsters that get released by Ajax after learning 3-5 years of "Total Football" at this famous club.

The added bonus is most Dutch people speak perfect English.Better than most of us Bristolians laugh.gif
