... ###### any balloons and I hope I am wrong but with his desperate injuries he has an awful lot to do to get back to his 1999/2000 form.

Transferred on 29/7/1999 for £4, 500, 000

Leeds Utd.: 1999-2000 Played 34 Scored 19 goals (Premiership)

2000-2001 Played 7 Scored 0 goals (Premiership)

Bristol City have gambled presumably at the behest of Marcus Stewart. But that is what it is - a gamble.

I hope it works both for Bridges and for City.

The stats are scary, but the lad has got quality underneath.

He needs to keep fit and have a good run, and I am sure he will do fine for you. I think he was banging a few in for our reserves.

For the past 4 summers previous to this he has been strongly linked with Newcastle - Bobby Robson loved him, even with his injury problems and i would say he knows a good player when he sees one! Give him a chance 1 year contract if he gets us up job done, if not we havnt really lost anything and he leaves. Thats REALISM!

the problem is if some other club signed bridges he would play a

blinder in every game, scored many goals and helped the club

to get promition.

city had to take the risk on him but he has been injury free for

the last two years.lets hope he stays like it and does the biz for

us.

I think he can, he's had a hard time in the past with injuries but has got the potential and other teams and scouts have definately seen that only for him to get injured. Leeds spent £5,000,000 on the guy and we just got him for free. Of course we should take a chance. Maybe he'll suprise everyone and surpass all expectations and do a Lita and we'll sell him to Leeds for £5,000,000 wink.gif haha
