Dave L
Remember last season, a lot of people were saying Tinnion had no contacts in the game, and was such a rubbish manager that there was no way he was going be able to bring in decent players? We now have a 12 million pound strike force both of whom have scored hat tricks in the Premiership. A Current Welsh International Centre Half. A current Irish under 21 International Centre Half. Three players who were mainstays of their teams in this division last season. No guarantees this will bring us any success, but it's not a bad start.Off to the Mem Stad now, to see some of them play .
london red
His signings do seem to have been very shrewd this Summer, but I can't help but feel that we have changed a bit too much; it takes a while to create a team from 11 players, just ask Claudio Ranieri. Guest Eamer
Well most managers when they start out and are still young won't have many contacts to turn to. Tinnion was a model professional though and made friends through that. Also has to do with some luck with Stewart being a City fan. I mean would everyone here be as optimistic if Stewart and Bridges weren't here?
