myol'man Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 City 2 - Barnet 4Big problems in defence, if Partridge is a Welsh international then i'm the Pope, and if Clayton Fortune is a central defender then i'm Tony Blair!!!!!!!What a pair of clowns we had in central defence tonight, one of their goals the bloke picked the ball up right side of the penalty area, ran all the way over to the far post, slotted it home, unchallenged. The rest weren'tdefended any better. Missed Haywood big time, got to get him back forSaturday cos Clive Platt is coming to town.Looked OK going forward, Scott Murray played well, new bloke Grant done a good job in midfield, Brooker, Stewart and Bridges when he came on all looked dangerous, but we just ship too many goals. At port vale it was his fault for their first goal. An by the sounds of it he was a donkey tongiht. Hes yet to convince that hes a welsh international. I don't rate him greatly at the moment.
