Port Said Red
DW says "You have to pick the best formation for the players available and to counter the opposition" I can't say I have seen much sign of this in the past.

Admin Ian M Posted October 31, 2003 Admin Report Share Posted October 31, 2003 DW says "You have to pick the best formation for the players available and to counter the opposition" I would agree with the first half of that statement but unless we are playing against a higher division side or away at a promotion contender, I believe it should be us forcing our gameplan onto the opposition, particularly at home. When mid-table sides come to visit, should a serious promotion contender seriously entertain the idea of changing their gameplan because of what the mid-table (or inferior) opposition may be capable of? Sounds to me like the "serious promotion contender" is too scared of failure to do what it takes to win the division.
