Guest bcfccider
Pardon my ignoarance, but is there any reason why the Premier League should get a cut of the deal? - corruption?! No wonder there are clubs in trouble. See below Old Trafford move a "dream come true" for star Saha Louis Saha has spoken of his delight after finally completing his protracted transfer from Fulham to Premiership champions Manchester United. The French striker has moved to Old Trafford for a figure of £12.825m. United agreed a deal in principle with Fulham for Saha on Sunday, but the transfer was not sewn up until Friday, when Sir Alex Ferguson returned with his squad after a break in Dubai. The 25-year-old passed a medical on Thursday and agreed personal terms - but will not be eligible for Sunday's FA Cup tie against Northampton. Fulham will receive £11.5m for Saha, who has scored 15 goals this season - two of them in the FA Cup - but is eligible to play in the Champions League. The Premier League will receive £575,000, with agents picking up £750,000 for their part in the deal.
