Do you know of someone that was available, that we could afford and that was willing to come here?I understand Swindle also needed a backup goalkeeper and only sorted one out themselves within the last 10 days - which was a loan deal from Manure - and that was for someone who was more likely to get a game because Rhys Evans has been carrying an injury! Guest routabout Posted August 31, 2005 Report Share Posted August 31, 2005 Sorry, on a more serious note.....Looks encouraging, we'll have to see what is made of him whilst he's with us. Month's option is a good move in my opinion, more or less a trial period with a difference on the wages.Also, it's nice to see the positive interview, which would suggest that we're getting him in with a view to it being permanent. Gilly's interview would also suggest that he is in fact going to be given a chance to prove himself. If it weren't the case, surely the club wouldn't have put these features on the site? Has had 3 on trial and during practice. He has also been watching this goalie and the deadline is today. Do you know any different? Do you know the circumstances on what scouting has been going on?
