everreddy
On my travels I've talked to several work contacts, recently, in places like Cardiff, Plymouth and Reading....The discussion inevitably turns to footie, and the fortunes of local teams. When the performance of our team crops up, no-one seems surprised that we're still languishing in this poxy division. Most objective outsiders see us as holding our rightful place - they certainly don't see the Championship as our "rightful" level. Maybe its because we've been in the "lower divisions" for so long, now.I'm not saying we shouldn't put all our efforts into going up, and like everyone on this Forum, I'll be "over the moon" when we finally make it...but maybe we just need to get ourselves into a more realistic mindset - witness the pre-season hype , in contrast with the current reality?
