"A large crowd at Victoria Park witnessed a spirited Pools performance, althought the team's domination of most of the match was powerless to prevent a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bristol City. That large crowd was 5375, with 660 of them city fans! How they claim to have dominated the match i do not know. The rest of the report says how they feel hard done by and a draw would have been a fair result. Despite the fact we had double the amount of shots on target as they did, and obviously put on more pressure as we had over double the amount of corners. "Overall, pools had the majority of possession in a hard-fought match against quality opposition...." The only thing they got right is the quality opposition bit...... Edit: Typo's.
