I wouldn't be at all surprised if the move eventually ended up being a permanent one. Maybe not in the next couple of months, but probably when his contract has expired. Rovers will have an exceptional goal scorer if he can continue to stay injury free. It's just a shame we never got to see a fully fit Lee Matthews as I'm sure he will score goals at any level of the game. I think the club should look very seriously at off-loading him to Rovers now; if nothing else, we can surely tie up a LARGE sell-on clause which might just come in handy!
