spectator Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 Mentioned that Ray Lewington was very harshly dealt with at Watford.But...............They took a chance on Adrian Boothroyd, youngest manager in the leagues who was a coach at Leeds.All the usual stuff.....no ambition, who is he, cheapest option, etc etc etc.Saved them from the drop, playing with enthusiasm and motivation and now 3rd in the Championship.He won't be available but is anyone similair??Most managers who are available have been around the track a few times, some getting more and more bitter as they've gone on from job to job, and just want a contract in the short term, and a pay off when it all goes wrong.
