Groucho Marx famously said:

"I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member".

Taking Grouco's advice:

"We don't want to appoint a new Manager who has to apply".

Wise advice at last! biggrin.gif

At times like these some advice to the board would be to say little and keep a low profile until an appointment has been made.

For Groucho also said "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

yours midland red.

Bravo! Top response!

No, he didn't. That was Abraham Lincoln. smile.gif

Although, seeing as we're paraphrasing Groucho...

"I could watch BCFC until the cows come home. On second thought I'd rather watch cows until BCFC come home".

Just kidding. CTID.

Sinatra was a better singer though whistling.gif

and he said 'Here's to the confusion of our enemies! '

So maybe SL will appoint Hollowhead, that would confuse me! laugh.gif

Um no, he was in fact saying something more along the lines of, "I'm a bit of a wag and a rogue. If they would have me as a member then they are happy to accept wags and rogues, in which case I wouldn't want to become a member."
