Pewsham
Taylor is celebrating his 61st birthday today.I heard Steve Lansdown talk in terms of a manager who could guide the club for the next 3 - 5 years. Does the fact that Taylor is now 61 (I must admit I didn't realise he was that old), make him less likely to take the City job?
Nibor
I don't think he's very likely to take it anyway but I don't see his age being a factor.Lansdown was emphasising the need for succession planning, so someone at that age and a capable young assistant being groomed to take over would fit that.Nibor

Nibor
Taylor and Millen? Millen being groomed?←If Taylor was interested in spending the last few years of his working life at BCFC then yeah it would seem to fit but I have doubts he is.Nibor

Guest MaloneFM
Only the fact that he doesn't want to go back into management is stopping him. If he came back I'd wonder how much he was on, and what Sir Steve Purdown was on for appointing him. Remember Malcom Allison at the gas? Great idea that was too.
