Dastardly and Muttley
In today's Sunday Independent it says that Pulis is the favourite for the Argyle job, along with Motherwell boss Terry Butcher, who is expected to land the Bristol City job.Anyone else read this, and what are the chances of this having any substance? robins72
God only knows D and M but I think the suspension of not knowing whos going to be our new manager is killing some of us!
Lita For Congo
Dad's mate whose a gashead went down to the boxing Friday, and Pulis is all but manager, just has to sign the contract and the job's his. APPARENTLY (once again those 'sources') John Gregory turned it down saying he was more interested in our job? Take it with a pinch of salt though... Guest Ron
If we get Terry Butcher then the time waiting for a new manager will be well worth it and I will get to every game for the rest of the season, no question.
tower crane red
if you read any of the papers it gives a different name in every paper who is favorite for the job ,ie harry basset is favorite in the sunday people.nobody knows who it will be but my guess it will be known this time next weekend and it better be the right choice this time

Dastardly and Muttley
Terry Butchers managerial record is appalling. Far worse than Brian Tinnion and any other manager mentioned so far. His record is ;Managed games 243Won 81Drawn 50Lost 112That gives him an average of 1.21 points per game - relegation stuff. It would be out of the frying pan and into the fire if we got him.←But aren't most of these stats from around 10/12 years ago? People change over time and I'd be far more interested in his recent stats and the high esteem he's held in by Motherwell fans. I'd have him like like a shot. Guest Ron
And Motherwell are supposed to be getting 2 points a game? They're a crap team in a hard league!
