Why John Ward Is Going To Be

Based on track record Mark Magee would be another in the frame and, to be honest, I'd employ Ward long before Lawrence.

What do you think Ward will do?

Keep us up perhaps - but don't we need to build a team/ playing structure to get promoted and (importan this ) - stay there?

And why would McGee (sp) want to leave a championship club - if Brighton get their new stadium they could be a massive club........and I think he will keep them up

Look at previous mistakes made by bringing former Players / Managers back.

Bought Joe Jordan back failed and another mistake.

Bought Scott Murray Back Not the player he was when we sold him and another mistake.

Bringing John Ward Back would be another big mistake.

Bring someone in with Premiership Experience if at all possible.

Absolutely! Hear hear!

I was pleased when he went to Coventry and pretty miffed when he came back. Out of all of our players, including Fortune, I would have to say that he has had the biggest influence on our poor form. It's thanks to Louis' aimless punts that matches are such hard work for us.

What the hell do the club want a manager with premiership experience for????

The club needs a manager with experience at getting teams out of the mess they find themselves in.

John Ward is the type of man they require, but even though I was a big fan of his management style and success achieved it rarely happens when returning to former employers.

I would find it very amusing should it happen though and he should not only be appointed but also be successful with it.

What a waste of the best part of ten years Scott Davidson !!!

very well worked out, I like your style and tend to agree with what you said.

On Richard Latham, he does seem to have gone out on a limb over Ward (who I rate too). Whilst I do not agree with him doing that he has been the first person I read on reports etc on city and always found him insightful and intersting.
