The managers job is to prepare them before the game etc. But once the whistle blows it is down to the players to earn their money.I have know seen a topic saying blame FIFA GET A GRIPThe players on that pitch are playing for a wage, not the club they love. Lita played for the club and so did tinnion. The young blood such as cotterill are the same. Maybe even Stewart in his own little way but he just isnt what he was when he left the gas.Bridges is a good example. He is only here because Marcus is. He had to be persuaded to join. What good is a player who doesnt want to join and only does so because their friend has joined his favourite team?don't blame FIFA or SL (yet). don't blame tins cuyz he has gone and cudnt care less anymore. Worry more about the players you pay to watch.If players were payed by their performance than a basic wage then football could be so much more interesting all over the country and not just here. The team changed too much, we were tactically niave.Yes, it's the players that perform, but its the line-up & tactics that get decided for them.
