Pie Eater
After seeing the picture of Grisby pitch and the weather forecasts I felt very sorry for Ger. I can only admire his dedication if he take this one on.

KirstyF
I thought all the snow was supposed to be disappearing in the next couple of days?

Dave L
We couldn`t agree more! The kids a diamond for what he is doin`! An the money he is raisin` is for a ruddy good cause! To give up yer job an take on what he as, takes a special kind of person! We wish him well! Well said, ol' timers. At the risk of repeating myself from an earlier post, if anyone would like to send Jer a supportive text (he's cycling into a blizzard at the moment and feeling a bit down) then PM me and I'll let you have his mob number. A few words of support would mean a lot to him, so please consider it. Talking longer term, it's supposed to get a bit milder and less snowy by the weekend, so I wouldn't give up on the game just yet.
cheshire_red
I've just moved from the Cheshire Plain to the Fells of Lancashire and a blizzard is an apt description!! I'm near the top of Beacon Fell (above Garstang) and it is damn cold.
