Guest Fan
Is it walkable from temple meads train station? Is a closer station? Are there any buses i can get to take me there from temple meads?
WestburyRed
My Dad and his mate walked it for the Swindon game, quite a walk but certainly do-able if you don't mind walking, the weather is reasonable and you have plenty of time. SimplyRed
Depends what you mean by walkable! Probably around 45 minutes walk along the river (out of station approach, turn left then turn right at the river, heading West - keep on the south side). Should be plenty of buses outside though. Look for buses to Bedminster/Ashton/Long Ashton. If it was me, I'd probably get a cab - can only be around £5, I would have thought. There is a closer urban station - Parson Street, but service to it is rare.
Never to the dark side
Okay I was going to suggest the local train to Beminster which leaves at 1314pm Which takes you one third of the way But as you are arriving after that time not a lot of good If thier are three or four of you get a taxi If you are on your own I think the best way is to walk Not sure if thier are some light brown chocolate coloured buses (A-BUS)from Temple meads to Ashton, sorry don't know what the timings are Good luck
