New Player Possibly Coming In?

Are you sure he wasnt talking about the possibility of bringing someone in. He did say that if he thought their was someone he wanted to bring in then he would give their name to the board and if the board says yes then great and if they say no then he can be quite persuasive and change their minds.

I don't recall reading/hearing anything about him actually have a name.

I would say theres no player at all yet, he was talking hypothetically.

Gary Johnsons first interview:

Will there be money for Gary to spend on new players? "I'm sure there will be," he said. "We haven't talked figures, but if there is a player I feel will significantly improve our squad I will go to the chairman with the name and the fee.

"If he says yes, fine. If it's no, then I won't complain publicly. But I can be quite convincing when I want something badly enough."

Notice the bold bit.

Whoever is their first-choice left winger ;)

We don't have a specialist left winger.

Terry Skiverton?

IMO we have 3 better centre backs than our skipper.

Serious question. Do you guys have any cash in your transfer kitty? The reason I ask, is that all our best players are on 2 year deals so you are going to have to pay for them should you want them...assuming we agree to sell of course.
