Was in London a week back and the guy i was with a QPR fan ,said that Tommy was the best player on the pitch every time he plays...i don't think these rumours are true though
westex red
Tom is history, and should stay that way, great to start with but lost the plot BIG TIME!
RedUn
Busted flush. He's 27 this season and some seem to think he's still the cheeky 17 year old we all so admired. There might just be some sort of case for bringing back a player who'd actually achieved something in the game, providing he hadn't left under a cloud, and providing he would improve the team - but Doherty fails on all three counts. Natural talent will only take a player so far; by his mid 20s he has to know what's needed to sustain a professional career and to act accordingly or he'll slide downhill faster than he ever went up it. Right at the time he should be approaching his peak as a mature professional, he seems set on following the Cramb/Hutchings route to footballing obscurity. Guest CITYDAZ
No, imo he was clearly unfit for most of his city career, yes he was good in patches but i'm happy he is now at QPR
