He was sometimes sloppy and thought he was too good for us, but a reasonable player all in all. If it is true, then to laugh at his is sickening. robins72 Posted October 10, 2005 Report Share Posted October 10, 2005 I used to really rate Coles until last season. His attitude changed and after the Sheffield Wednesday when he got sent off. His couldn't care less attitude let him down big time. But after the "Look into my eyes" talk after the Luton mauling he appeared to improve and I was a bit disappointed to see him go at the start of the season. He gave us five or six years of great service. He was an excellent centre-back and showed that by often being linked to higher placed clubs. I agree that his attitude could have been better, but to laugh at him is ridiculous. At the end of the day, football is his livelihood, and without it he is nothing.
