Admin Maesknoll Red Posted November 8, 2005 Admin Share Posted November 8, 2005 I personally think we made a huge mistake in losing Coles, Doc, and Hill.Cheers BadgerBut they were big part players in the last few seasons failure to escape this division - the impact of losing the play-off was massive and even if Wilson had stayed he would have had to look long and hard at his squad and make changes. Admin Maesknoll Red Posted November 8, 2005 Admin Share Posted November 8, 2005 Maybe your right, but they couldn't of done any worse could they? No, I doubt that they could have been in a worse league position, but they also couldn't quite take us up, so finishing, 3rd, 7th or 20th is pretty irrelevent, as are still playing third division football. What Tinnion tried didn't work, the players he has brought in haven't performed, lets be fair, we're a near bottom of the table club and can get a game called off for international call-ups, so all the current players can't be that bad.My guess is that GJ knows the problems, obviously can't publicly comment, especially if it involves players he needs to sell in Jan. This season is all about avoiding relegation, lets fervently hope that we manage it.
RedTauntonian
Maybe your right, but they couldn't of done any worse could they? NO they wouldn't be doing any worse, and they would play with passion, they would wear that shirt with pride! Can you say that about any of are players so far this season?Maybe Murray has the club in his heart maybe one or two others, but apart from that can you name any player that has played with pride and passion this season? RedTauntonian
OrrYeah give you that one, let him self and the club down off the pitch though, but on it he does give 110% maybe not the best player on the park but does always give it his best and doesn't give up either.Any more?
