Seeing alot of the deadwood being shiiped out on loans around the country surely free's up money to pay to get some quality loan signings in ourselves but it seems we've missed the boat again this time on Gavin Williams. Strongly touted by some on here with rumours of sightings near the Gate etc, he's joined Ipswich on loan til January.

Really starting to worry now about the calibre of players we're signing. We miss out on Williams but swoop for Quinn?! Seems like planning for League Two football next season is already in earnest!

Swansea tried to get him on loan earlier in the season - Pardew refused & made it clear he'd only go on loan to a CCC side. I don't think the club can be blamed for this one. The only way I think we could get him would be an outright purchase but a) doubt we can afford it & b) doubt he wants to come to a lg 1 relegation battle right now.

Not exactly a tough choice even thoufgh GJ is manager here, some people will do anything to critasise the club or manager.
