Do You Remember The Time? (part 4)

Ok so we are down to the 60's. The list we have for this era so far is:-

Terry Bush (1960 - 1970)

Brian Clark (1960 - 1966)

Jantzen Derrick (1960 - 1971)

John Galley (1967 - 1972)

Trevor Jacobs (1965 - 1973)

David Rodgers (1969 - 1982)

We realise that now we may be getting into the era of time where there may be lots of people who remember these legends, but don't necessarily have computer access. So if you know of someone who would remember these players, why not print this page out, and get them to send it to Bristol City Supporters Trust, Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, BS3 2EJ. Or email it on their behalf to info@bristolcityst.org.uk

Thanks for all your input so far.

Dave Rodgers was not the most skillful player but was big and great in the air, especially at set pieces. he scored great goals with his head and unfortunately a few own goals (including a stray back pass at Tottenham which was televised on Match of the Day). He would have played more games for City had it not been for Gary Collier. He was brave too, getting in tackles which others would have left.

John Galley arrived at Ashton Gate as one of Alan Dicks's first signings. Things were not good as he arrived with a leg in plaster. Fortunately he scored goals to keep City in Division Two and they were on the way up. I remember him playing in the League Cup semi final games v Spurs in 1971. So close to Wembley, yet so far. (Light years away now)
