NailseaRed
was anyone actually going to bother going anyway?! I'm guessing it's behind closed doors because they couldn't sell any tickets!
Guest HambrookRed
was anyone actually going to bother going anyway?! I'm guessing it's behind closed doors because they couldn't sell any tickets!Or maybe because of the weather problmes and because they don't want fans to turn up and be turned away due to a late decision........ i don't know......could be anything ! Admin phantom Posted November 22, 2005 Admin Share Posted November 22, 2005 Was told by a steward I know on Sunday that there were only 370 seats allocated, 300 of these were guests etc.I think that speaks for itself
swampy
why is the afternoon game behind closed doors? saves an embarrassing all time low attendance at the gate. club will say - um - we needed to play behind closed doors because short notice - couldn't muster up stewards. yes - right. A Horse With No Name
why is the afternoon game behind closed doors? saves an embarrassing all time low attendance at the gate. club will say - um - we needed to play behind closed doors because short notice - couldn't muster up stewards. yes - right.THe impression I got is that the club would lose out financially if the game went ahead as planned. If the Williams stand had been opened to the 8 ticket holders and a few hundred free kids, think of the cost of stewarding, catering, turnstile staff, St.John's Ambulance, etc. etc, all needing to be paid. The official line will probably relate to the weather however.
