Why don't they ban studs as well because i wouldn't really want a stud in my leg either. It's just unlucky if you get studded whether its a stud or blade they both do exactly the same thing, except blades give you better grip on the grass. You rarely hear of anyone being "studded" to cause them an injury unless they get stamped on their head or something, and blades are also a more susceptable shape.
