City are in a crisis: make no mistake. They huffed and puffed but were not very good: mind you Donny weren't hugely better.

City's faults:

* Too many loan players who don't know each other

* too many soft tackles

* naive defending and poor distribution from defence

* lack of passion

* hit and hope football

* I could go on

City have always thrilled me when they play the ball to feet and progress purposefully up the pitch. I wanted to see Stewart today 'cos I think he must be that sort of player. Savage was abattering ram at best: surely not what we really want. Wilkshire struck me as the only 'footballer' in City colours
