He started refereeing in Wolverhampton in 1985 and worked his way up through the lower leagues, achieving League Assistant status in '99 and joining the National List in '04. His biggest game so far was a Conference play-off semi final in 2004.He showed 10 yellow cards in the recent Leyton Orient v Chester match and he is currently 52nd (one above the bottom) in the Rate the Ref league table, a lot worse than his 29th place last season.Replacement Referee: Gary Sutton - LincolnLittle information out there on Gary Sutton, its his first season as a National List referee and this is his first game as man in the middle of a City fixture.
