Super Scotty Murray
Our defence has looked absolutely superb in the last few weeks despite the back four looking very average for most of the season beforehand.I would have though that along with Gary Johnson, a lot of the credit must go to Keith Millen who I believe is an excellent coach. All the bad press Millen was given on this forum during our bad run was in my opinion, very harsh. And Johnsons faith in him shows that he regards him as an excellent coach. Are there still any people out there who believe we should sack Millen? Nibor
Defence problems were never down to Millen anyway despite what some numpties will tell you. They were down to playing with a different back four every week in front of a keeper who rarely caught high balls, with a midfield like a sieve.Nibor
Rednready
GJ's hand grenades may have extended to Millen and the coaching staff. GJ said shortly after arriving that the coaching staff would have to improve the players fitness levels, and he would be looking to improve the club from top to bottom. Obviously GJ indentified the coaching, including Millen, needed improving in regard to the fitness training, and Millen having seen which way the wind is blowing has decided to blow in harmony. no1cityfan_tucks
The assisant more often than not is there to back up the managers views. If anyone noticed, when tinnion went, millen changed the side and tactics.
