richwwtk Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 Didnt we move for him a few years back???? l might be wrong.I don't recall ever seeing anything official but back in the season we lost the play off final I was told that he had signed a pre-contract agreement to come to us if we were promoted. As we didn't go up I kinda forgot all about it but it may indicate that he has considered us before. He's also not exclusively played for northern teams, I know a Crystal Palace fan that still regards him as his all time favourite to play for them.
