They released one last week, and another,David Martin, looks to be going to Liverpool soon. They have their No1 keeper who was DW's first signing (Matt Baker) and have now given an 18 year old achademy player a squad number so he can cover for Baker.So in effect they actually had 4 available or on their books at one time. 2 have gone/going. If Phillips joins that still leaves the currant No1 and the 18 yr old. If Phillips really doesn't like competition I'm not sure going there would be a good move, except for the DW factor of course???
