redrobin108 Posted February 10, 2004 Report Share Posted February 10, 2004 We are 2/3 thirds of the way through the season, had have not scored from a free-Kick or be given a penalty yet this season. Who scored our last goal either from the spot or a free-Kick. We are the only team at present in the division not to score from a dead ball situation. Grimsby have scored from a free-kick this season, but are the only other team not to be award a penalty yet. Lets hope we are saving them up until April. Claverham_Red Posted February 10, 2004 Report Share Posted February 10, 2004 you are absolutely true (mickey bell did score a penalty against swansea in the carling cup though) but i think we have scored more from corners compaired to last year. you would of thought a side who is third in the league would of scored from a dead ball situation but as long as we score and win the game then it does not matter how we score football is a funny odd game! I think they all managed to stay under the roof of the East end or Atyeo Didn't Matt Hills goal on Saturday come from a free kick from Aaron Brown ?
