Dons sign Plymouth striker Taylor

Taylor will try to help Milton Keynes avoid relegation

Milton Keynes Dons have signed striker Scott Taylor from Plymouth Argyle in a £100,000 deal, to help their fight against relegation from League One.

The 29-year-old former Blackpool and Tranmere front man has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal at the National Hockey Stadium.

Taylor leaves Plymouth after just over 12 months with the Championship side.

Argyle boss Tony Pulis told his club's website: "He has a first-class attitude - he'll go and get goals for them."

That could be an important signing for them.

Hopefully he'll score less than he did for Plymouth!

I'm surprised he didn't sign for someone a bit better than them. I wonder if he's lost form or something. There again, I seem to recall he was bit of a one season wonder anyway.
