Cardy
Here's another one. On hearing that BCFC have struck a deal with SCFC for Easter, the AFCB Chairman rang Mr Lansdown and told him that it would be 'very likely' (ie:done deal) that they would be accepting our offer for Hayter on Monday. Mr Lansdown then contacted GJ and asked him what he wanted to do and GJ decided he would rather have Hayter. Lets face it we can't afford both of them because of the money involved. Have we therefore called AFCB's bluff and got the right man at the right price after all ?

LocoPal
hmmm... and maybe our interest in Easter was merely a ruse, simply to force the B'mouth Chairman's hand? A poker hand if you will... (hand strokes chin followed by evil laughter)LocoPal

Guest Alexbcfc
Y would we have pulled the plug on Easter if Hayter came calling...Johnson has stated he is trying to sign TWO strikers...He has also said he has 2 bids in for strikers awaiting answer on Monday..One Being Hayter...the other unknown...He also said he was waiting for a loan deal...i beleive that was Lloyd Dyer..who had now signed for Millwall..Also interestingly...As stated on Sky Sports News Yday...Charlton have made Jeffers.Johannson and Lisbie available for loan.... If we do get JH we won't be able to afford anyone else on a fee, likewise if we had got JE on Friday.
