The hard working players like Brooker will see there's no point running around all day for nothing when they can earn better wages playing in a higher division elsewhere2. The manager will clear off3. The Board will either sell shares to someone else with money to burn, or else will strip the assets from the club and we'll be watching footy in Ashton Prk instead of Ashton Gate.1982 all over again.
