mtraveller
i have been reading in the newspapers that qpr palace and sunderland have been watching this lad. he is a striker from wealdstone, who is rated as one of the top prospects in non-league football. yeovill have bid 50k for him. we have a scout in london pete johnson surely we should be in for these sort of players. i don't think we use the non- league scene enough. There's been some crackers coming through non-league recently and it seems we don't even give them any thought until they've scored against us! This guy is very highly-rated, could it be that PJ recommended him to his former club...

Chappers
I don't think many City fans would be negative towards a Non-League signing. Stunned that we had actually bothered to scout there maybe, but certainly not critical. And Swansea hjave cooled towards Andy Sandell at Bath after their recent extravagence, so come on GJ, once he is fit again, invite your Brother down this way and get him to take a look. Guest Tactical Genius
We already have a non-league striker in Mr Savage.
City Rocker
But can you imagine the posts on thisforum if CITY got a player from non league!!!Mark Shail was one of our better signings back in the mid 90's period - became club skipper and I think was very popular with the crowd. No internet in those days though for the moaners to spread their negativity.
