Red_Mat
Working out the average points total from everyone who's given their views on this thread - including the Swindle fan - the points total works out at about 60 (or 59.8). More than enough to stay up.If any team gets relegated with 60 points there has to be something very, very wrong...

Sir Colby-Tit
I know these calculations may be ever so slightly biased towards the mighty reds, but it looks like the MK Donkeys & Rothersum are doomed

kit
This is what I think based on current points, form and the ease of the run in.My predicted/ Predicted points rangeDoncaster 60-66Tranmere 56-65Bradford 55-63Port Vale 54-63Bristol C 51-60Swindon 51-58Gillingham 52-58Notts F 52-59S****horpe 48-56Yeovil 47-55Bournemouth 46-57Walsall 47-56Blackpool 45-53Hartlepool 45-53MK Dons 39-49Rotherham 39-49Rotherham and MK both have lows points, poor form, and Rotherham have an extremely difficult run in. Hartlepool also have a very difficult run of games along with relatively poor form. Blackpool have a slightly tougher than most run in, and are currently on poor form.I think that Rotherham and MK are all but down, with the other two spaces likely to be filled by Hartlepool, Blackpool, Walsall, Bournemouth, Yeovil or S****horpe.Doncaster and Tranmere for me it is extremely unlikely that they will go down, due to good form and already high points totals. City Exile
Its actually very tricky doing this game by game. If you think a team is 'pants' then its tempting to put them down for loss after loss, wheras in realtity it ain't going to happen. Have a look at the tables above and Rotherhams/MKD for instance are regulalry coming in at less than 40 points, which I think is actually unlikely. One person had Rotherham down for 2 more points in 14 games!Equally, taking every one of our home games, I went 'we really should be looking to win that one'. So whilst I got to 63 points, I had six home wins, which I think is actually unlikely.Did it again, and got 55. Which I still fancy will be enough! ciderup
I've just done it as negative as is reasonable and we still stay up! Only by a point mind. I must stress I was listing the worst possible scenarios and I think we will stay up by alot more than a point. Good exercise though.
Jungle Jim
Has anyone looked at the "F.ink Tank" predictions off the Times website? Click the "launch the predictor" button to the top right of this page: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,7973,00.htmlIt calculates % odds of each result then works out the table from there. We still stay up, just, although it doesnt take account of our last 2 results yet.Bottom 4Swindon HartlepoolRotherhamMK Dons
