Just got back to Aldershot (70 miles) in 1hr 10 mins. Shame about the 3hrs it took to get there, finally arriving at 8:30. Hints for future away trips:

1) If going anywhere near London at rush hour on Friday evening take the train.

2) Main roads are called that for a reason.

3) Clever short cuts are only clever and short if you know where you're going.

As for the match, from what I saw it reminded of the Hollowhead quote: It may not have been the prettiest girl but at least we got her in the taxi and took her home.

Basso was my MOM and Brooker was great as usual. MK Dons were laughably poor with some awful finishing. Best comedy moment was when one of their attackers tried to kick the ball over his head and fell in a heap. Bas' late charge up the pitch was quality too.

Best entertainment was actually listening to the old guys behind me carrying on:

"Russell has been completly anonymous... go Russell"

"That's better boy. Still rubbish"
