bucksred Posted March 14, 2006 Report Share Posted March 14, 2006 As the Dongs have loads of fans who support the Arse, Chellski, Manure, Spoors etc, thought i'd share what soem of them who attended as neutrals feltAll thought Brookerman was the best player on the pitch, followed by Basso. both could be off unless we get promoted soon (Palace fan was interested in him in particular)Most thought Carey should have gone for his tackle near the end, and some reckoned Woody smacked smalls wi an elbow.thought we had potential, but lacked confidence and a SECOND striker...they all all thought Baz was hysterically funnyThe Dongs......relegated Izale McCloud..........moving on Danny Wilson..can see why we binned the defeat is not failure!! At bloody last!! Lets hope the squad is strengthend SOON. Oh yeah, and we all made a lot of noise-some of the noisiest there this season. I think the local Nolds shutting down would be more of a crisis for Milton Keynes, ghastly place How long is Brookers contract till anyone? City Exile Posted March 14, 2006 Report Share Posted March 14, 2006 I've had it all.The elbow, should be a sending off - I did see it but looked accidental;Carey sending off - inclined to agree, although it was a back four in a line rather than one on one as it were - just enough to put doubt in the refs mind I think, but lucky;A penalty - no it wasn't - but seen them given;Foul on Chorley forcing the mistake for the goal - not that I could see, even on the replay;Baz - lucky to stay on. Have to agree with this one. After his booking, a couple of incidents were he skated very close to the line, inluding a pull back that I am sure would have led to a first booking.Overall, all bull, other than I do think we were lucky to finish with 11 men! Tell the Palace fan that we'll swap Brooker for Andy Johnson + cash...On a more serious note, the summer will provide a chance for Johnson to get rid and bring in. I think the squad will be a lot more settled and just generally stronger with a steady BCFC ship next season.In's and outs???Wilkshire and Stewart certs to go?? I hope we can somehow keep hold of Brooker, he is a class above!Who knows who will be coming in?? There will be some though, no doubt. One or more strikers, depending on whether Brooks goes and even if he does stay, two more will be needed going on the back up he has at the moment...
