MurrayLives
AudacityWith Audacity can you record your own audio eg. from a mic or straight from computer (eg. soundclips) onto an .mp3 to create a new .mp3?
Nibor
With Audacity can you record your own audio eg. from a mic or straight from computer (eg. soundclips) onto an .mp3 to create a new .mp3?Yep.Although I wouldn't recommend doing quite that.Save the soundclips as raw data (.wav format) and do any editing you want to do... then when you're done editing them, convert them to mp3. MP3 is a "lossy" encodin algorithm, to make mp3 files take up less space some of the data is removed, therefore doing the editing with all of the data and re-encoding it after will get you better quality sound.Nibor
