glastonred
Did anyone else notice that we may have heard the last of that appallingly dreadful song 'Amarillo'? Not a hint of it at the Yeovil game. Some of us have been campaigning against it all season. At last we're rid of it, never to insult our ears again. Dollymarie
They definitely played it both times we scored yesterday. The other funny thing was when the second half started, and there was still music playing, it took about 5 minutes to switch it off, and then there was a huge cheer when they finally did. madmax
The fans seemed to be taking to the song, after both goals everone seemed to give it ooh ooh when it was sung.MM
andy234
Played 'Amarillo' in the Williams yesterday, and I don't mind because wev'e scored.
Guest kop38robin
it was def played all over the ground mate. We def need a new tune, and for when we run out on the pitch there should be a fans vote or something.
baggsy
In block f of the Atyeo they played an updated version of miseralou ( or however it is spelt), the one from Pulp fiction. Good song and definately prefer it to Amarillo.
Flaxbourton Red
No piped music after we score,we don't need any corny american rubbishas for coming out onto the pitch, whats wrong with something by the wurzelsas for copying the scousers with that ring of fire thing? Can't we be original? we used to have a song that went dooby dooby do, what happened to that?
Guest Ron
Can't we be original? we used to have a song that went dooby dooby do, what happened to that?Well after it got cancelled from CBBC in the afternoons I think there was less call for it Always the same story anyway, dog catches man in mask. Now very rarely hard and most of the youngsters don't seem to know it.All together now...Dooby dooby doooo,Oh dooby dooby dooby dooby dooooOh dooby dooby Dooby dooby dum dumDooby dooby dum dumDooby dooby dum dum dum.Ah, they don't write songs like that any more... stillmorecider
like Mr Blobby, we'll soon forget Spamarillo, thank ****. I've been secretly working on some songs which I may forward to the ashton gate faithful! Its a mix of Star wars theme to start, Eminen-Lose yourself, tom hark-pirahnas, johnny cash-ring of fireI'm liking it and will some how try and let you guys hear it when completed.Mainly as an entrance them for the players
WTFiGO!?!
All together now...Dooby dooby doooo,Oh dooby dooby dooby dooby dooooOh dooby dooby Dooby dooby dum dumDooby dooby dum dumDooby dooby dum dum dum.Ah, they don't write songs like that any more...I'd settle for that everytime, really help's express my love for the Club!Barring that though, I'd have Liquidator back.I'd like to think that once they settled on a quality tune that everybody was happy with they wouldn't go changing it again just for the sake of it. I'd like to think a lot of thing's though. For goal's I'd also like to think that there'd be no need for tannoy music as City fans would be so loud in their delirius celebration's that it would just be drowned out anyway, like I say...... Nibor
No piped music after we score,we don't need any corny american rubbishTotaly agree, it detracts from the atmosphere not adds to it.as for coming out onto the pitch, whats wrong with something by the wurzelsIt's not very intimidating or inspiring IMO, I'd prefer it after a game personally. I'd quite like something loud and aggressive to help put the opposition on a bit of a mental backfoot. Ideally though, it should be the crowd roaring. Not going to happen unless we pickup 10,000 more fans somewhere.as for copying the scousers with that ring of fire thing? Can't we be original? we used to have a song that went dooby dooby do, what happened to that?Being original sounds good. havanatopia
what did they play when we scored yesterday we were there but got carried away with bradley orr scoring the ski sunday signature tune - when they used to show franz klammer going 'over the top at wengen' only this time it was good ole bradleyyyyyy.i think the song 'High' by the Lighthouse Family should be our adopted goal celebration. After all, it is like going north when we score.
