Port Said Red
I thought the crowd got behind the team well in parts yesterday and it was one of the better games this season from that point of view, but apparently the official Oldham site was impressed and referred to "a noisy Ashton Gate" ! robins72
I think after the re-taken penalty the atmosphere started. Why do we always make noise when something contraversial happens or after we score a goal? I know this happens at many clubs Ive visited particularly the bigger clubs but it is strange that we are so quiet for such long periods during the match. gazareth
That's probably because the Oldham fans were so quiet in comparison. I only remember hearing them singing after they scored.
lukejones2
I think, to be fair to ourselves, there has been a decent atmosphere at AG ever snce we lost to Chesterfield.Bearing in mind the fact that we aren't in the 70s, we cannot stand and reserved seating is the norm in this day and age, we should be proud of ourselves! cheshire_red
Not according to this Oldham fan who didn't like the Cider in The Ship & Castle either. (There;'s an obvious reason for his lack of taste).Link: http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=9...ytoid=532227468
scarz3
That was Noble who took the immense free kick , not Scott Brown. Tut tut
James M
I thought the atmosphere was a bit poor yesterday? Not a lot of singing at any rate
